Table Management

Every table on every floor, with what is open on it right now. Guests call a waiter from the table, and a table cannot be cleared until every order on it has been paid, served or properly voided.

Your floor, live

Every table, and what is open on it

Group your tables into floors, give each one its capacity and its own QR code, and watch the whole room in one grid. Tables sit in three states, Available, Dine in and Reserved, and the grid groups itself by them so a host can read the room at a glance.

A live floor view for Floor 1, with tabs for Terrace and Floor 2. A status summary shows 3 available, 4 dine in and 1 reserved. Eight table cards follow, each with its number, a QR icon, its seat count and how long it has been running. Table 12 is highlighted amber with a Table Call alert; the others show their open order counts.

The Table Call alert is raised by the guest from the QR menu at the table, and reaches your floor staff with the table and floor already named.

Where money quietly leaks

A table cannot be cleared with money still on it

Closing a dining session is where restaurants lose revenue: a round nobody charged, an order paid for but never carried out, a part-payment written off by a careless void. Quickbuy refuses to close the table until each one is dealt with, and names exactly which orders are in the way.

A close-session panel for table 12 on floor 1, showing 3 active orders and 148.00 AED still due, with the Close Session button disabled. Three blockers are listed: a pending unpaid order 1046 that must be voided or resolved, a paid but unserved order 1044 that must be marked served, and order 1041 which has payments recorded and therefore cannot be voided at all.

The third case matters most: an order carrying a partial or excess payment cannot be voided away. The balance has to be completed, refunded or adjusted first.

What table management covers, and what it does not

Table management is the part of a restaurant system that knows your room: how many tables you have, which floor each sits on, how many it seats, and what is happening on it right now. Done properly it removes the two questions a floor asks all night, which table is free and what is outstanding on the one in front of me, and it answers them without anyone walking the room.

It is worth being precise about scope. Quickbuy does not include a reservation engine, an online booking page or a digital waitlist. If you take bookings, you will keep doing that the way you do today. What Quickbuy owns is the live side: the state of every table, the orders open on it, and the rules that decide when it can be handed to the next guest.

How Quickbuy runs the floor

Tables are grouped into floors you name and order yourself, which is enough to model an indoor room, a terrace and a private area without drawing anything. Each table carries a name, a capacity and its own QR code. The view is a live grid rather than a map: tables group by status, so Available, Dine in and Reserved separate themselves, and each card shows seats, how long the table has been running and how many orders are open on it.

The floor talks back. A guest can raise a Table Call from the QR menu, and the alert reaches your staff with the table and floor already named rather than as a light nobody can place. Orders taken at the table land on the same order board as everything else, so the bill on table 12 and the queue in the kitchen are the same data.

Key benefits for UAE restaurants

The gains are smaller and more specific than the industry usually claims, which is the point. Nothing here depends on a guest booking ahead. It is about the covers already sitting in your room and whether any money walks out with them.

  • See the room without walking it

status, seats, elapsed time and open orders on every table, grouped so a host reads it in one glance.

  • Guests reach a person without waving

a Table Call from the QR menu arrives named by table and floor.

  • Guests order and pay from the table, so the gap between finishing and paying stops being a queue at the till.

  • A table cannot be cleared while an order on it is unpaid, unserved, or carries a part-payment.

  • Every table has its own printable QR, with a bulk export for when you re-lay a room.

  • Role-based access per module, so a floor manager can create tables without being handed the whole system.

What the floor tooling actually covers

The list below is deliberately what ships, not what a category page usually promises. If something you need is missing from it, it is missing from the product, and the demo is the right place to find that out rather than month three.

The piece worth understanding before you buy is the close-session check, because it is the only part of table management that touches money directly.

  • Floors you create, name and reorder, with tables assigned to them and no limit on how many.

  • Tables with a name, a capacity in seats, and a status of Available, Dine in or Reserved.

  • A live grid and a list view, with search by table name and grouping by status.

  • Elapsed time on a held or occupied table, plus the count of orders currently open on it.

  • Table Call alerts raised by the guest from the QR menu, delivered to staff with table and floor.

  • A printable QR card per table carrying the table number and floor, plus a bulk download for the whole room.

  • A dining session close that blocks on pending orders, paid-but-unserved orders, and orders carrying partial or excess payments.

Getting started with Quickbuy

Setup is short because there is not much to configure. Create your floors, add your tables with their seat counts, and print the QR cards. A single-room venue is usually done in an afternoon, and a multi-floor group repeats the same shape per branch.

The honest case for Quickbuy on tables is not that it will fill your room. It is that the room you already have stops leaking: the state of every table is visible without asking, guests can reach someone and can pay themselves, and no table goes back into service with an unpaid or unserved order still attached to it. If you also need reservations, tell us on the call and we will say so plainly rather than sell around it.
