What a digital menu really means for a restaurant
A digital menu is the version of your menu that lives online and updates in real time: the QR menu on the table, the takeaway ordering page, and the item list your POS reads from. It is not a PDF of your printed card. A PDF is a photograph of a decision you made once; a digital menu is the decision itself, editable, and it is what every ordering surface reads.
The reason it matters is that a menu is where your margin is decided, and most restaurants cannot see that margin. A price is a guess unless you know what the dish costs to make. Menu management that is worth the name links each item to what it consumes, so the price you set is a decision rather than a hope.
